Prior to Obamacare
Retired people had Medicare and many purchase
supplements to boast their coverage!
People who could afford healthcare, purchased it!
Many received medical insurance from their employer!
Most Government workers had free healthcare!
Those who didn’t want healthcare, but could
afford it, gambled and paid dearly, when needed!
Those who could not afford healthcare, used Medicaid!
Anyone who show up at a community hospital got
treated for serious problems and most minor ones, like colds and flu!
Then there were less than 1% of the people with serious
chronic medical issues, that were denied insurance, because they are very expensive to treat and provide on going care. Medicaid did not want to incur the costs of treating these people.
Obama fixed the crisis that didn’t exist by raising 99% of the people’s healthcare costs and threw in a couple freebees like contraceptives and pre-existing conditions!
