They have the security knowing that people will give up just about everything including, TV, cars, food even their apartments before surrendering their cell phones.
If you have to buy a stock, these are the only ones that offer the security of no matter what happens in the economy they will still be there. Long after IBM, GM, Mirosoft, Ford, BankAmerica or Boeing are gone.
