Not one Senator spends 5 minutes of their time in a day, finding where to cut waste or looking for savings.
All it would take to cut the budget, is for each Senator to spend 2 hours a week dedicated to saving tax payers money.
Personal phone calls and conducting personal business on company time, costs corporation 1-2% of their profit, think of what these type of abuse costs the government and tax payers!
Misuse of phones, supplies, coffee breaks, vehicles and issued credit cards are costing the tax payers billions.
As businesses grow, they find better ways to handle work flow more efficiently and every 4 or 5 years lay off the employees they no longer need. The government has never laid off anybody, not once, let alone every 5 years. What does that say about how productive government employees are??
